How to integrate a payment gateway

To integrate a payment gateway, get your API keys, whitelist your server IP, create an order from your server, redirect the customer to the checkout, verify the signed callback, and test every case on a staging site before going live.

Step by step

  • Create a merchant account and copy your App ID and keys.
  • Add your server's public IP to the whitelist.
  • From your server, create an order with the amount in paise.
  • Redirect the customer to the returned pay_url.
  • Verify the callback signature and exact amount.
  • Update the order and balance in one transaction.
  • Return ok to acknowledge the callback.
